Celebrating Maria Lippart
In 2014, Maria Lippart felt God’s calling to use her gifts to teach on a mission trip to China. Despite her paralyzing fear of flying, she obediently followed God’s calling and boarded a 23-hour flight to China. During this educational trip, Maria’s passion for missions was born. In the ensuing years, she has traveled on numerous mission trips to China, Guatemala, and Kenya.
The Maria Lippart First-Time Missionary Scholarship is a living tribute to the love that Maria has not only for the vast number of students of Fredericksburg Christian School but also for the students in Kenya, Guatemala, and China. Maria will be celebrating her 50th birthday in June of 2021 and would not be happy with gifts for herself. Her family and friends can honor her loving and generous spirit by donating to this scholarship fund which will award money each year to a first-time missionary student traveling to Royal Kids School in Kenya or to Guatemala.
This scholarship is meant to ignite that same loving and generous spirit in others. The hope is that this scholarship will empower others to face their fears and overcome any obstacle in order to live out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).
